The beard is coming along pretty well, getting tired(ish) of it tho. I'll try to make it til midsummer, but we'll see.

Christmas

Tomorrow is the last day at work before christmas. Gonna spend it at my parents in Grängsbo. A few days ago the temperature was -37C up there. That, my friends, is cold. Me and Mia head up there tomorrow directly after work. No internet while being there and I'm getting drunk at the Charta 77 gig tonight so just wanted to wish everyone a merry christmas.

Whats up?

Been afk for a while due to moving in to my own apartment and don't have any internet connection yet. Stealing from the lads upstairs at the moment. But yeah, got my own place now in Älvsjö. Dont have any furniture or anything yet tho, just a blanket on the floor. But it is roof over the head.
Work is ace, Sthlm even more so. Been to a few gigs lately (Asta Kask, Beatbutchers 25 year ann., Raised Fist, Doka amongst others) and is really enjoying myself. The lovely Mia at Locals Only hooked me up with a haircut a few days ago and I actually look decent again.
I truly enjoy shit right now, even tho it snowed today. Makes outdoor demolition a pain. Cash on tuesday and gonna hook me up with some furniture. Gonna be good.

The Merry Wives of Windsor

A few days back Malin got her hands on two tickets to the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by Shakespeare at Dramaten here in Stockholm. It was my first visit to the 100 year old theatre and we got the best seats available and it was pretty awesome. Really beautiful theatre, funny play with decent actors. The play was about 3 and a half hours long and I was pretty tired at the end of it but overall it was a nice and cultural experience. Many thanks to Malin for inviting me!

Working

First week at Odenplan construction site done. It's been fun but kind of hard. Not used to get up at 5.30AM and crack concrete with a jackhammer. But it feels real good to do something again.

In the middle of nowhere.

Out at my mom and dads now, been here for a few weeks. One good week with Ginger and then some pretty boring weeks ever since. Oh, wait. Was out canoeing with 15 of my mates earlier this week and that was awesome. A local 50+ hero/alcoholic/old stoner on a quadbike came down for a few brews and puffs with us and got way too drunk. We were gonna borrow the quad with him on the back, Linda driving and me on the front to go and get the bbq.
The guy lean forward, grabs the gas, gets the gear in and drives us all straight out into the river. Amazing. Gonna upload a pic of that whenever I can get my hands on one.

Work front is so-so, on my dads mobile broadband now which is really shit since the last thunderstorm, keeps disconnecting all the time. So I haven't really been able to do any web-work yet.
Gonna borrow my mates appartment for a few days this week and see if I can get anything done on the Inkslingers website. Need to get that going. Also I have got some more freelance work in for my neighbours company. Will be fun.
A friend of mine working at a pretty nice place said that they might need a fulltime designer soon aswell so he's gonna try to hook me up for an interview.
I have to get my thumb out of my arse and phone the demolition company aswell. So goddamn skint at the moment, ca't even get into town for any fun times. Sucks.

Just started working on the new website for Inkslingers Custom Tattoo, Newcastle. I don't really have anything to show for yet, mostly in sketch mode and trying to figure out how to arrange the navigation and such. But I'll keep you posted on how it proceeds and when I have something to show you, I'll do that.
